After 13 years of serving the scripting community with a completely FREE site (no fees, donations, or ads) Win32Scripting is closing its doors. Thanks to all who contributed to this vibrant and ever growing community. This site can truly be credited with fostering scripting on the Windows platform at a time when powerful scripting were the domains of UNIX and main frame operating systems.

Over the past 4 years or so scripting on the Windows platform has evolved and new technologies have been introduced. Powershell is now king and in many ways Powershell is a superior scripting platform as well as the best shell available on any OS. Over the same time my life has evolved and I do not have the time nor the passion to continue to maintain this site.

So this is farewell... It's been a crazy time. Thanks to all those that contributed scripts & COM objects, gave of their time to help others in the discussion lounge, and to those that just hung out, downloaded scripts and were a part of the community... Keep Scriptin'
